Cakes I made over the Summer

Some more of my summer time shenanigans. I tried lots of new things this summer. Learned how to make my own fondant, and even made all my own fillings. Nothing better than homemade.

Under the Sea

So this was probably one of the funnest cakes I have ever made. It was for an under the sea themed birthday party. I'd love to hear what you think of it.

Some More summertime cake jobs

So here are some of the things I have been working on over the past summer. School has been kinda crazy but is letting up a little for the time being. I am looking forward to making more cakes and getting better each and every time.
The holidays are coming up and wouldn't it be fun to do something different this year. How about a cake or cupcakes instead of pie. Or in addition to the traditional pie. I make cupcakes that look very festive on the dessert table at Thanksgiving time. Christmas is another opportunity to change things up a bit. I would love to help out with that change. Please send me an email for details. Thanks for checking out my blog!!

Long time no Post

Life has been very busy lately with me starting Nursing School and all, but I have still been making cakes and cupcakes, just not as much as usual. Here are some pics of some work I have done in the past few months. Hope you enjoy. Remember those holidays are coming up, so if you are interested in placing an order for Christmas or New Years Eve, please let me know.

Cupcakes on Steroids

So a few years ago, my wonderful sister in law Kate bought me this fantastic giant cupcake pan. It's a fun way to make a cake fairly quickly. These cakes are great because adults love them as much as kids do. I mean who wouldn't love a cupcake that's over 10 inches tall? Anyone??

I'm dreaming of an Iced Christmas

It's Christmas time so what kind of cupcakes would you expect me to be making. These are red velvet cupcakes with buttercream frosting. These were so much fun to decorate. I made some for my Christmas party at work, and then the other half are for my Christmas party at church. Hope everyone thinks there yummy!
