Halloween Madness

So Halloween is almost here and I am almost done with all my Halloween cupcake orders. Only 3 dozen to go, and then I just have to make some for Ty's class. Have to wait and see which ones he wants me to bring. I'm ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas now, need a little change of scenery.

Just playing around

So last night I was a little bored and decided to make some cupcakes and use my new camera to take the pics. Still waiting on some lessons from my sister in law Kate as to how to make the pics even better. They sure are an improvement from my old camera though. Practice makes perfect right?

Halloween

So here are some Halloween cupcakes I made for work. We brought them to our referring dental offices. I made 240 cupcakes in one day. Believe it or not, it was fun, and for the most part very relaxing.

Cupcake Stand

This is the cupcake stand I made for the bridal shower. It was a black and white damask theme.

Black and White Cupcakes

These are from the bridal shower for my new sister in law. These are the cupcakes that started this entire madness. Everyone loved them, and they were so much fun to make. This is when I realized that I could make a lot of cupcakes and still have them taste good and fresh. These are what I call Black and White Cupcakes. They are chocolate cupcakes, with a dark chocolate ganache, then topped with a luscious white buttercream frosting.

I have a wonderful husband who supports me in all that I do, and I have two wonderful kids who are the light of my life. Baking started out as just a fun hobby, but through the years my desire to share my cakes and cupcakes with others has grown to an obsession. I think about cake and cupcake designs all day long, and even into the night, where these visions visit me in my dreams.
